Parentage- Persues was the son of God Zues and princess Danae(daughter of Acrisius).
His life story- The oracle of Apollo told Acrisius that Danae's son would kill him. So then, Acrisius locked Danae up in a bronze tower with only one window so that she wouldn't meet any men and certainly would not give birth to a child. But god Zues took pity of her and decided to pay a visit, so he appeared as bright, golden light and shone into the dark tower through the window and then as soon as he got in he turned into his real form. After 5 minutes Danae was madly in love and after a few months the king came to visit Danae and as soon as he got in, he saw Danae holding a baby in her arms and that baby was Perseus. Acrisius was furious, so he put Danae and Perseus into a chest and cast them out to sea. After a few days they somehow managed to safely arrive at the island of Seriphos(where Polydectes ruled). Polydectes's brother Dictys who was a fisherman was kind enough to open the chest they were in and let them out. Perseus grew up to be a strong, brave man. Soon Polydectes heard of Danae and her beauty and asked her to marry him, Danae, being smart, rejected him. If it wasn't because of Perseus, Polydectes would've forced Danae into marrying him, so he had to get rid of Perseus. So he came up with an idea of 'marrying' a friend's daughter and everybody had to bring presents including Perseus. But Perseus, on the other hand, was too poor to bring anything and didn't bring a thing, Polydectes pretended to be very angry and after a very serious conversation, Perseus promised that he would bring anything, so Polydectes asked for the head of Medusa. After a few days Peseus set of on his search for the head of Medusa and he found it very hopeless, then Athena and Hermes both decided to give him some help and after all the help he wasn't so lost anymore and he succeeded to cut of the head of Medusa. On his way back, he came across Titan Atlas and decided to release him from his pain by turning Atlas into a rock with the help of Medusa's head. Later on, he came across a girl chained to a rock and asked her what her name was and why she was chained to a rock.(here was her reply)"My name is Andromeda and I'm chained here because my mother went of boasting that I was more beautiful than the Nereids and Poseidongot angry and decided to sacrifice me to the sea monster". As soon as she was done speaking the monster suddenly rose from the sea and Perseus told Andromeda to close her eyes and he took out the head of Medusa and the sea monster immediately turned into a rock. After that Perseus and Andromeda got married and they set off to Seriphos and stopped at Larisa to play some games that were on in that time. Only then the prophecy in the beginning came true, Perseus accidently killed his grandfather Acrisius during a game. After they mourned they set off again and this time they finnaly arrived at Seriphos and Dictys saw Perseus and told him to get to the palace quick and so he did. As soon as he got there he saw Danae in a wedding dress and was being forced to marry Polydectes and so Perseus told everybody on his side to close their eyes and he took out the head of Medusa and Polydectes and his guests immediately turned into stones. After all Perseus lived happily for years , eventually he was killed by Dionysus to be immortalised.
Personality- Perseus, unlike most stereo types we know, was not proud of his achievements and so it did not lead him into being punished like Thesues and other heroes.
Appearance- Perseus had short, brown hair and a pair of sky blue eyes, he was very handsome and as I said, he was brave he was one of the happiest hero I've ever read of, being offered to be immortalised and having a happy life that most heroes couldn't even dream of.
