                         坚 持 就 会 迎 来 新 的 转 机

    梦想，是坚信自己的信念，完成理想的欲望和永不放弃的坚持，是每个拥有她的人的最伟大的财富。每个人的心中都有许多的梦想，但如果，你只是一味空喊我要“追梦”，在梦境中追寻你想要拥有的一切，而不付诸行动，脚踏实地去通过努力来实现自己的梦想，那么终有一天，当梦境破灭，你将发现你一无所成。

    “能到达金字塔顶端的有两种动物，一种是苍鹰，另一种蜗牛。苍鹰轻而易举地飞上了塔顶，蜗牛凭借惊人的毅力，持之以恒地攀登，也能最终到达终点。”贵在坚持----从“差生”到自如地跟上欢快的爵士舞乐，这就是坚持为我带来的新的转机。

   一个偶然的机会，我接触了马术。

    初到马场时，我还不到十岁，头一回接触到马这样的“庞然大物”，我有些胆战心惊“呵，好高啊！要是摔下去，屁股会开花吧？”我提心吊胆地望望场外的父母和教练，他们微笑着用鼓励的眼神坚定地望着我，一圈、两圈……渐渐地，我克服了心理阴影，慢慢开始喜欢上这项运动，并坚持学了下去。

    十一岁的春天，旧马场拆了，我转到新的俱乐部学习，那时，我已一发不可收拾地爱上了马术，我十分享受那风驰电掣的感觉；享受坐在爱马“Tiger”的背上，不紧不慢地走着，看天高云阔，听虫鸣鸟叫。为了挑战自己，我参加了俱乐部的比赛，开始投入紧张的训练。在每一个蚊虫萦绕汗流浃背或是淫雨霏霏浑身湿透的夜晚，我与马儿一次次站在起点，来来回回地熟悉比赛路线。----伴着一路扬起的黄沙，斗折蛇行的蹄印以及教练手中“嘀嘀”叫着的秒表……我对自己说“加油，坚持！”         

  （背着沉重的装备乘坐巴士“不远万里”奔赴马场进行训练，风雨兼程。此时，书是我的良师益友！)

      （其实，鼓励我的不仅有父母，还有我的队友和教练。）

   （在厦门举行的团体赛中，睿智的万山叔叔，稳健的冀帆姐姐给了我很大的帮助，我们赢得了团体冠军！）

    比赛成功了，成功的背后是我的刻苦坚持与家人的鼓励支持。他们可能不知道，我在起点前看到了他们嘴角上的一抹弯弧----那是一座用鼓励和坚持搭造的桥，让我信心倍增、突破障碍坚持走到成功的彼岸。

    有时我会静静问自己：为什么我会如此痴迷于这项这么危险而困难的运动呢？是因为对这项运动的热爱，是对荣誉的追求和对顶尖骑手的崇拜，还是因为自己也想成为优秀的骑手？不论是为了什么，我坚持下来了，而我相信，只要坚持，就会迎来新的转机！

             Persevering will bring us a new turn for the better！

Hello everyone! My name is Vivian. Today I’d like to talk about Persevering will bring us a new turn for the better.

As we know, horseback-riding is not only one of most respected sports in the world but also a challenging one. I like sports, but never had I learned so much from a sport like this. My incredible adventure began three years ago. As a big fan of animals, I thought it would be quite easy for me to make friends with horses. But the truth is, a tiny 10-year-old was completely terrified at the first sight of the tall and wild “beasts”. At that moment, I even wanted to give up and keep away from this terrible sport forever! In a horrified state of mind, I heard my father’s voice “Don’t be afraid. Horses are strong but very kind. Look at their eyes. If you don’t try it, how can you know about horses and horseback-riding? ” Then he took me to a strong pony and encouraged me to touch its nose and talk to it quietly. The little horse seemed to understand my words and rubbed its face against mine. It was such a magical moment and all my fear just slipped away. Later my coach helped me get on the saddle and I started my first ride. Sensing my nervousness, the horse was a little naughty carrying me slowly on the ranch. But I tried to fight against it and talk to it in a calm voice. After a long time, it finally carried me running around the meadow. I spent many time to battle against it. But finally I won the ‘battle’ and I learned how to control a horse in the right way. At that moment I felt like a real knight!

From the day on, my enthusiasm with this sport grows even stronger. I’ve learned how to communicate with horses, how to control myself in difficult situations, and most importantly I get to know many great riders and friends. Their passion inspires me and their professional advice helps me in many ways. I get to know the importance of persevering and try to do my best in all the subjects because horseback-riding told me :Persevering will bring us a new turn for the better. Also, I’m no longer the shy girl who easily got nervous. I become more confident in trying new things and more open to challenges. I think that’s why I’m here today because horseback riding brings me so much power and pleasure that I want to share the joy with you. I do hope you like it.
